Phils Lose Yet Another Home Game

Tonight's game was terrible. The Phillies lost 7-1. Jamie Moyer struggled, and the Phillies could not hit off of a mediocre pitcher. There is nothing good to talk about this game, let's just move onto the next game.
UP NEXT

Phillies:Joe Blanton has pitched a lot better for the Phillies lately. He allowed just five hits, two runs and two walks and struck out seven Friday against the Red Sox at Citizens Bank Park. Blanton is 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA (six earned runs in 27 innings) in his last four starts. He has walked just six and struck out 28 in that span. That is quite a turnaround from the beginning of the season, when Blanton went 2-3 with a 7.11 ERA in his first eight starts this season.
Blue Jays:Brad Mills will be make his Major League debut for the Blue Jays in place of right-hander Casey Janssen, who was placed on the disabled list with inflammation in his throwing shoulder. The 24-year-old Mills -- a candidate for a rotation job during the spring -- went 1-8 with a 4.48 ERA with Triple-A Las Vegas. The lefty has gone 1-3 with a 6.29 ERA in his last four outings, following a string of six starts in which he posted a 3.19 ERA. In 2007-08, Mills combined to go 15-5 with a 1.96 ERA across four Minor League levels for Toronto.
