Phils Lose Third In A Row

Everybody thought Cole Hamels was back on track but he showed today that, that might have been a fluke. Over six innings Cole gave up four runs on eight hits. He just wasn't nearly as sharp as he was in his previous two starts. Hopefully, this was just a bad start and he will go back to the same form as when he was pitching against San Francisco.
The offense did some good things at the end of last nights game. Today all of the offense they got were on three solo home runs by Jimmy Rollins, Ben Francisco, and Jayson Werth. This offense really needs to come out there slump. If we can just get a couple of guys hot, they should be able to carry the team.
Shane Victorino did not play today due to an injury. The severeness of the injury is undetermined, as far as I know. Hopefully Shane will be back in the line-up tomorrow afternoon.
UP NEXT
Phillies:J.A. Happ suffered his second straight loss in his last start against the Giants. He struck out seven, but allowed four runs over six innings. The rookie left-hander has not faced the Astros this season.
Astros:Brian Moehler was the victim of poor defense in losing his previous start Tuesday against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. He gave up only one unearned run in 5 1/3 innings, allowing six hits and three runs. He's lost five of his last six decisions. In his career, Moehler is 2-3 with a 6.38 ERA in 11 games, including seven starts, against the Phillies. Moehler beat the club the last time he faced it, giving up four hits and three runs in six innings on May 24, 2008 at Minute Maid Park.
