Phils Get Crushed By 'Stros

Tonight's game was a really bad game for the Phillies. Cliff Lee got hit around pretty good, he gave up six runs in three innings. The first five hits for Astros weren't well hit balls. They were either bleeders that just got into the outfield or a blooper that fell onto the outfield grass.
The Phillies offense tonight was just a disgrace. They did not get any runs. They have not been scoring runs for a while and this is starting to become a concern. Every night that they have problems scoring it makes people more and more worried.
UP NEXT
Phillies:Joe Blanton was outstanding in his last outing against the Braves on Sunday. The hard-throwing right-hander gave up three hits and one earned run in seven strong innings, his career-best 10th consecutive quality start. Blanton was around the plate most of the night and threw 111 pitches, 66 for strikes. The only run he surrendered was a solo homer to Martin Prado in the first inning. Blanton settled down after that and shut down the Braves the rest of the way.
Astros:Roy Oswalt won for the second time in three starts Monday by holding the Cubs to six hits and two runs in seven innings at Wrigley Field. He went 2-1 in August, improving his career record for the month to 28-7.
